December 2016 Meeting

We had pizza overload and a fantastic wooden nickel auction at our Christmas meeting on the 8th. Our next meeting will be on January 12th at 7:30, and the topic will be Walking Liberty half dollars. Since we were suffering from advanced mozzarella coma, we forgot to plan the show and tell during the meeting so let's go with topics pertaining to Walkers - so things like Liberty or eagles would work.

On a numismatic note, Your Obedient Blogger was at the Smithsonian this week and visited the coins on display at the American History museum. The lighting was poor and so was my camera setup, but here's one you don't see everyday...
