We had a strong turnout for our August meeting, thanks to everyone for joining us. The topic was medals, tokens, and other numismatic bric-a-brac related to the E.I. du Pont de Nemours company and there is certainly quite a bit of it from both here in Delaware and elsewhere. Given DuPont's longstanding safety culture it was no surprise that many of the items had safety themes. Next month the program will consist of three smaller topics: the Getz cent, the US twenty cent piece, and the UN monetary pattern. As always, feel free to bring any coin-related goodie for show and tell. Looking forward to seeing you all there on September 10th at 7:30 at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover.
