Thanks to all who made it to our September meeting. The topic was, well, actually three topics:

  1. The Getz cent - made in 1792 to demonstrate what coins made according to Sentator Robert Morris' bill would look like

  2. Twenty-cent pieces - America's shortest-lived circulating coin

  3. The UN Monetary pattern - a world currency that was proposed to the UN in 1946


For October we'll be keeping it local with a focus on Delaware paper money and specifically the vignettes on those notes. Show and tell will be anything you care to bring. Looking forward to another great turnout on October 8 at 7:30PM in the Modern Maturity Center in Dover.
