Our last formal program of the year was an informative look at US dollar coins, with an emphasis on Eisenhower dollars. Next month is the annual Wooden-nickel Auction and Pizza Pig Out (or WAPPO) where you can munch on fresh, steaming wooden nickels then bid on auction lots with the pizza you've saved up all year!

Wait... reverse that.

For the auction bring your accumulated wooden nickels and some numismatic-related goody with a value in the $5-10 range. All wooden nickels must be turned in after the festivities so spend, spend, spend!

As a reminder the December meeting starts at 7 so we can get the short business meeting put to bed (undoubtedly with visions of sugarplums dancing in its head) before we unleash the WAPPO. Your Obedient Blogger will be out of town and so will have to miss this years' extravaganza, but unfortunately will not be far enough away to feel truly safe. So long until next year!
