We had a really large group come out for our March meeting - it was great to see all the old and new faces, and special thanks to those who have been spreading the word. We hope everybody finds the meetings interesting and informative enough that you want to keep coming back. This month we had a presentation on the US Trade Dollar including the idea behind trade coins, the situation between the US, Mexico, and China that sparked the coin, and a review of why it was a success and then very quickly wasn't. In April, the topic will be the Liberty Mint and show and tell will be whatever coin doesn't run away from you fast enough and gets caught (although if you need a theme, how about coins / token made by private groups when the government wasn't meeting the need for coins?). We're looking forward to seeing everybody on April 14th at 7:30 at the Modern Maturity Center.
