June 2021 Meeting

We're almost back to the normal ("normal" being a relative term for our group...) cycle and format of meetings. I think the only difference right now is we're still wearing masks, and I'm not sure when that might be lifted. In June, Stan presented the second half of his informative presentation on counterfeits, covering several more subtle methods and what kind of signs we can look for. I think we all appreciated the depth and details he went in to. For July... well, at our first meeting back from COVID Your Obedient Blogger gave a presentation on grading to almost exactly nobody (I think the officers were there, and 1-2 members?). However, it was well received and we decided to do it again when more members were likely to attend. So in July we will have a reprise of the grading presentation, although there will be a little new material to keep those of you who saw it the first time awake. Show and Tell will be anything goes, however, if you have anything that you consider seriously under/over graded that would be appropriate to the topic (especially if it's in a slab). I look forward to seeing everybody on the 8th (it's early this month!) at 7:30!
