We kicked off the year with yet another strong turnout, thanks to all for joining us. Our topic was the 1943 US steel cent, with a focus on how it was developed and some of the alternatives considered along the way (like plastic and glass). In February the program will be on 19th century US type coins - this is such a large topic that we will start with the smaller denominations and leave the larger ones for another time (or times?). As always Show and Tell will be "whatever ya got", but if you've been thinking of sharing a type coin from the 1800s this would be a good opportunity. We look forward to seeing you at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover on February 8th at 7:30.
