We had a strong turnout for the February meeting, so thanks to everybody for coming out and for the vigorous discussions! The topic of the evening was Standing Liberty quarters, and hopefully we debunked the common explanation for the design change from Type I to Type II and that a "full head" designation means the coin has a good strike. Next month we will go back in time (so far that only about half of our members were around) when we discuss bronze coins of the early Roman Empire. Show and Tell will be anything goes, although if you want to bring those denarii you saved as a kid I suppose I can't stop you. Hope to see you all there on March 9th!
