We had a strong turnout for our annual Holiday Pizza Pig-Out and Wooden Nickel Auction - it was great to see everybody there! The auction featured several interesting items and was rather lively. Remember - wooden nickels are only good for the year they are issued, so if you have any left over turn 'em in (don't we have enough inflation in real life?).

For January we'll be back to our regular 7:30 meeting time, and the topic will be US 19th century small type coins. We've talked about 20th century type coins and type collecting as a great way to focus on designs instead of expensive rarities, so this will be an interesting addition. Show and Tell will be anything you care to share, but a nice 19th century type coin would be a good idea. Looking forward to seeing everybody at the Modern Maturity Center on January 11th!
