December 2020 Meeting

Finally... 2020 is over, and we celebrated during our December meeting by taking off our masks long enough to eat pizza. We also gave everybody the opportunity to stop carrying around those wooden nickels we insist on handing out by disposing of them at our auction (and, on a more serious note, we had very nice donations to the auction from the member this year). As of the time I'm posting this, our January meeting is on and the focus will be on counterfeit coins (and we're not faking!).

July 2026 Meeting

It was great to see yet another strong turnout for our July meeting. Our program was on Lincoln cents, specifically the origin and design of the coin. For August we will shift gears a bit and focus

 
 
 
June 2026 Meeting

Thanks to everybody who was there for our June meeting, where we focused on US proof coins and dove into proof sets but also the pre-proof set era (before 1936). In July the topic will the that coin

 
 
 
May 2026 Meeting

Your Obedient Blogger is getting this one in just before the end of the month so technically it's still "May"... We had a very good meeting this month highlighted by an informative presentation on hob
