First of all, apologies for the lack of an update in July. At our August meeting, we had a presentation on US pattern coins so we got a peek at "what could have been" (fun fact: the 1856 Flying Eagle cent is actually a pattern, and with a total mintage of approximately 2000-3000 it is the most common US pattern). In September we will have our much anticipated presentation on Pioneer Gold. Show and tell will be anything goes as usual, although there are lots of themes you could try for (pioneers, mining, the time period of the 1840's and 50's). Hope to see everybody there at 7:30 on September 8th!
