Our August meeting featured the coins of the Baltic States between the World Wars. Before the presentation, I had thought the Baltic States were what you needed with Mediterranean Avenue to build hotels on those worthless purple spaces, but now I know better (I should save my money for Boardwalk). Next month we will meet on the 12th at 7:30, where the topic will be hobo nickels. We'll all be interested to learn how the little suckers could jump on to the trains without any legs. Show and tell will be any altered coin, although as always anything you can dig up will work. See you there!
