Our April meeting featured the long awaited conclusion of the Early Dollars presentation (part 1 was in November) focusing on those early dollars where the date on the coin didn't necessarily indicate when it was made, and why. There was a lot of strangeness and improvisation in the early years of the Mint, and it was interesting to hear about that history as it pertains to dollars. In May, we're still looking at dollars... well, sort of... our topic will be Disney Dollars. Show and tell will be another free for all, although if you have any scrip or "good fors" those would fit the topic well. Looking forward to seeing everybody on May 9th at 7:30 in the Modern Maturity Center in Dover!
