Our February meeting featured a nice overview of the "classic" US mint commemoratives, and there were lots of examples on hand from both the presentation and show and tell. We left the topic for next month's meeting open, so Your Obedient Blogger has decided to focus on US type coins that only lasted for one year like the 1859 Indian cent (you all thought I'd say "penny" again, right?) and the 1883 Liberty nickel. Since we didn't decide on the topic at the meeting, Show and Tell will officially be "whatever" but if anyone wants to be on-theme then examples of quickie design changes would fit the bill. Hope to see you there on March 8th!
