Whew... at least I got this written in the same month as the meeting! At our April 13th meeting we had an excellent presentation on the dollar bill including different designs over the last 80 years or so, how to decode some of those little numbers printed all over the thing, and the design elements. We also had an excellent show and tell, with many interesting examples of notes brought in by the members (Your Obedient Blogger managed to forget what the topic was, and so was an exception to the excellence). Next month the topic will be Franklin half dollars, and absolutely worthless bonus points will be given to anyone who dresses up like ol' Ben (most of us have the old and pudgy part down already - we're halfway there!). We look forward to seeing you on May 11th for our 7:30 meeting at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover.
