The meeting was held on the 10th at 7:30PM. Your Obedient Blogger gave a mostly researched presentation on trade coins, focusing on what makes a good trade coin and how those things led to the strangeness that was the US Trade Dollar. For next month, there will be no presentation (yay!) because we will have our annual Christmas party (double yay!). Some reminders:

1. The meeting will start early at 7PM. That's when the little hand is on the 7 and the big hand is on the 12. (Note: after that bit of snark, I'll probably be the only one who forgets and shows up late).

2. We're having pizza and soda, but feel free to bring in any other goodies you'd like.

3. This is your annual opportunity to unload those wooden nickels, so to make sure you have something to unload them on please bring something for the members to bid on that's worth $5-10.

4. Anyone who wants to sing "O Little Mint of Bethlehem" or "Jingle Coins" is hereby reminded that the City of Dover strictly enforces its noise pollution laws, and based on our Treasurer's Report we're not going to be able to bail anybody out this year.
