Our October meeting was held on the 13th at 7:30 at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover. There was some discussion of the upcoming December meeting (i.e. the Christmas party) - there are too few members to really make the traditional pot-luck format work, so bring your alternative ideas to the November meeting. On a happier note, we had a very thorough presentation on Mercury dimes. Since Your Obedient Blogger was both (a) tasked with the November presentation and (b) left to his own devices for a topic, what started out as a discussion of US Trade Dollars has broadened a bit to a more general review of trade coins. So, a good theme for November's show and tell will be coins used for international trade, or with a trade theme. See you there!
