At our annual Christmas meeting on December 10th it was goodbye to President Mike (and thank you!), hello to lots of good food, and goodbye to all of our accumulations of wooden nickels from 2015. Our next meeting will be on January 14th at 7:30 as usual, with our simultaneously new-and-old President Tom. The program will be on the different metals used for coins. We didn't really settle on a show-and-tell topic, so anything goes although coins made of unusual metals would fit the theme. Of course, coins made of valuable metals may be donated directly to Your Humble Blogger for, ummmm, numismatic research purposes (really!).
