The meeting was nice and early this month on October 8th. September's trip to the BEP was postponed due to anticipated difficulties that were due to the Pope's visit, and was rescheduled for October 27th. Dave gave a presentation on Buffalo Nickels, and we all learned that's not a buffalo (but at least it's still a nickel). Next month, the presentation will be on Pine Tree Shillings (you won't have to read far into your Redbook to see what we're talking about) and show and tell will focus on coins that feature trees. Also, we will be planning the December meeting / celebration / annual pigout.
